You can now assign predefined Global Value Sets to project fields when creating or editing them. These value sets are managed centrally in the Global Value Sets section of the database, allowing you to reuse commonly used options across multiple fields. This streamlines field setup, ensures consistency, and eliminates the need to manually recreate the same values each time.
Step 1: From the main menu, go to “Database” under “Manage Database”.
Step 2: Click “Stages” and go to “Global Value Sets”.
Step 3: Click “Add”.
Step 4: Give a “Label” to your value set and add dropdown options. Click “Save”.
Step 5: You can find all the Global Value Sets here.
How to Set the Global Value Sets in Project Fields?
Step 1: Go to “Project Fields & Stages” then click “Fields”.
Note: This flow will work only if you have enabled it from the settings.
Step 2: If the field type is set to Dropdown, you can select Choose from Global Value Sets under Dropdown Options to link a Global Value Set to that field. This allows you to use predefined values instead of adding options manually.
