How to Add Custom Names in Utility Mapping List?

Updated over a week ago

There’s an option available in the utility mapping list to add a custom name, which will be matching the tariff name. Once the request for adding a custom name is raised, it goes to the customer experience manager for approval. Upon approval, the name is added to the dropdown along with the original tariff name. Mismatching tariff names can lead to hurdles and even rejection during the financing process. A matching custom name ensures that does not happen.

Follow the steps below to add a custom name.

Step 1: From the main menu, go to “Manage Database” and select “Database” from the dropdown.

Step 2: Then click “Solar System” and select “Utility List" from the dropdown.

Step 3: Go to “Utility Rates Mapping” and click “Add”.

Step 4: Type in the utility name, tariff name, and custom name. Click “Save” to finish the process.
