You can automatically update a project’s workflow stage status to progressing, complete, or none based on defined triggers and conditions. This means your workflow stages move forward with the right status at the right time, reducing manual updates and keeping your workflows accurate and in sync.
Follow the steps below to automate workflow stage progression.
Step 1: Click “Manage Database” and select “Database” from the dropdown.
Step 2: Click “Additional” and choose “Automations” from the dropdown.
Step 3: Click “Add”.
Step 4: Provide a title and click “Next”.
Step 5: Select the preferred module and click “Next”.
Step 6: Select the preferred job type and click “Start Now!”.
Step 7: Click the plus sign above “Automation Ends Here ”.
Step 8: Select “Update Fields” from the list of actions.
Step 9: Select the preferred field from the dropdown.
Step 10: You can select all three fields. “Stage to None”, “Stage to Complete”, and “Stage to Progressing”.
Step 11: Assign preferred stages to all the fields.
Step 12: Once all the stages are assigned, click “Save”.
Step 13: Once saved, you will be able to see the field update automations.
