How to Map HDM Equipment and Generate an HDM Code

Why This Matters

HDM equipment mapping connects hardware records in SubcontractorHub with the corresponding products in the HDM catalog. This helps ensure that the correct equipment information is used when an HDM quote is created from a project proposal.

Administrators can map panels, inverters, batteries and racking to their matching HDM products. Once the equipment is mapped, users can open the “HDM” tab within a proposal, apply the relevant project options, select the utility provider and create an HDM quote.

Follow the steps below to map equipment to HDM and create an HDM quote from a proposal.

What You’ll Need

  • Admin access to the HDM mapping settings.

  • Panels, inverters, batteries or racking already added to SubcontractorHub.

  • The corresponding products available in the HDM catalog.

  • Access to the project proposal.

  • The correct regional utility provider for the project.
