Anniversary Reward
Introduction
Reward customers on the anniversary of when they joined your loyalty program. This recognition keeps customers engaged and reminds them of their relationship with your brand.
Enabling Anniversary Reward
Step 1: Create the Rule
Go to Subscribfy > Loyalty > Rewards Program tab > Create new rule > Anniversary Reward
Step 2: Configure Basic Settings
Name | Display name shown to customers (e.g., "Anniversary Bonus") |
Reward Message | Message customers see when they receive their reward |
Step 3: Set the Reward
Points | Award a fixed number of points (e.g., 200 points) |
Discount Code | Give a discount code instead of points |
Step 4: Configure Advanced Settings (Optional)
Customer tags | Include or exclude customers by their Shopify tags |
Schedule | Set start and end dates for the rule |
Tier restriction | Limit which tiers can earn this reward |
Step 5: Save
Click Save and make sure the rule status is ON.
When Points Are Awarded
Anniversary points are awarded automatically through an hourly system check. The anniversary date is based on when the customer first joined your loyalty program.
Note: Customers receive the reward once per year on their anniversary date.
Tier Multipliers
Each tier has a points multiplier. The base reward is automatically multiplied by the customer's tier multiplier.
Klaviyo Integration
If you have Klaviyo connected, Subscribfy sends a Subscribfy Anniversary Reward Event when a customer receives their anniversary reward.

Tip: Create a Klaviyo flow triggered by this event to send a "Thank you for being with us" email.
Troubleshooting
Customer didn't receive anniversary reward?
Check that the customer has been a member for at least one year. Verify the rule is active and the customer meets eligibility requirements.
