How to open the Line-by-Line csv export after downloading it from the End of Service tab?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The line-by-line export available in the End of Service tab allows you to access a detailed reconciliation of completed transactions. Here’s how to open it properly to display the data line by line.

1. Download the CSV Export

  • Go to the End of Service tab.

  • Click on Download the "line-by-line" comparison to download the file.

  • The file will be saved on your computer, usually in the Downloads folder.

2. Open the CSV File on a Computer

With Excel

  1. Open Microsoft Excel.

  2. Click on File > Open, then select the CSV file.

  3. If the data appears in a single column, follow these steps:

    • Select column A (where all the data is grouped).

    • Go to Data > Convert (or Text to Columns depending on your Excel version).

    • Select Delimited, then click Next.

    • Check Comma as the delimiter, then click Finish.

With Google Sheets

  1. Click on File > Import > Upload, then select your CSV file.

  2. In the import window, choose Automatically detect as the separator.

  3. Click on Import data.

3. Verify Data Formatting

If the data is not formatted correctly (everything is grouped into a single column), check that the software recognizes the correct separator (comma or semicolon).

You can now review the line-by-line CSV export and analyze your transactions in detail. 🚀
