How to Add a New Server to Enable Tips ?

You can add a new server to your restaurant in two different ways, depending on what’s most convenient for you

Option 1 — From Your Sunday Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Sunday Dashboard.

  2. Go to the “Mobile App” tab.

  3. Click on “Register” on the bottom right.

Enter the server’s phone number.

  1. Assign them the role “Waiter.”

Note : The "Waiter" role is intended for front-of-house staff (servers), while the "Staff" role is designed for other team members such as bar or kitchen employees.


A text message will automatically be sent to the server with a link to download the Sunday for Staff app.
Once installed, they’ll be connected to your restaurant and eligible to receive tips.

Option 2 — From the Sunday for Staff App

  1. Ask your server to download the “Sunday for Staff” app on their phone.

  2. After downloading the app, they need to create an account using their phone number.

  3. A QR code will then be requested to link them to your restaurant. You can find this QR code in two places:

    • From your Sunday Dashboard, under the “Mobile App” tab.

  • From your own Sunday for Staff app, in the “Share QR code to join the app” section.

⚠️ Please note: the QR code is valid for 120 seconds. If it expires, you can easily generate a new one.
