Supercast Billing

A breakdown of how and when Supercast bills creators:

All-in Pricing

  • Supercast charges fees whenever a subscribers card is charged, and fees are automatically deducted from the payment.

  • For monthly payments, we'll take 1 month worth of fees, for yearly we'll take 12 months (so $0.59 / $7.20)

  • If the customer wasn't charged for a period of time (promotions, credits, free trials, etc), we'll "catch up" on charges when they are charged. For instance, if you had a 1 month free trial, when that trial is up we'd charge 2 months of connection fees or $1.18.

Custom (anything that isn't in Stripe, including free plans in an otherwise all-in setup)

  • Supercast charges at the 1st of the month, in an invoice that is e-mailed to the creator. Creators can pay by credit card and can save a card to automatically pay.

  • The invoice will be for the monthly fee (usually $0.59) for each active subscriber who has connected their feed or listened to an episode on Supercast. If you import someone and they never access Supercast, you won't be charged.
