There are two ways to close an approval:

  1. Set a close date and time, or auto close when all votes are in

  2. Manually close an approval

Setting a close date and time, or auto close when all votes are in

You can set a close date and time for the approval, or set it to automatically close when all votes are in. After the approval closes, you’ll still need to finalize it with a Passed or Failed status. To do this, go to the Closed tab, select the approval, and click the Finalize button in the top right. Select if the approval has Passed or Failed and then click Finalize approval.

Manually closing an approval

To close an approval manually, go to the approval and click the Finalize button in the top right. Select if the approval has Passed or Failed and then click Finalize approval.
