Surfboard automatically populates a set of 5 questions focused on critical business areas: company strategy, communication cadence, board meeting productivity, and management team efficacy.

Admins can send a sentiments survey by clicking Sentiments under Admin tools. From here, you can review the current set of questions and click Edit questions to make changes.

To edit an existing question, just click in the text box and make the changes you want. Then click Save changes at the bottom of the page to finalize your edits. You can also change the order of questions within a survey by clicking the dot grid icon to the left of the question title and dragging the box up or down.

To add a new question, click Add another question at the bottom of the screen. An empty question box will appear at the bottom of the list. Simply type your question into the text box and click Save changes to finalize.

To delete a question, just click the trash can icon on the right side of any question box.

By default, sentiments will be recorded with the title Monthly Sentiments and sorted by the send date. To change the title of a sentiments survey, click on Edit questions then click on Monthly sentiments at the top of the page. Type the title you want into the text box and click Save changes to finalize.

When you are ready to send, click the Send questions button on the main Sentiments page. Assign members of your workspace to complete the survey and click the Send button to publish.
