You can create custom Tags to add additional layers of identification to users. For example, you can use tags to specify who is in your audit committee, designate an advisory group, or differentiate Seed and Series A investors.

To create a custom tag, go to the Members tab of your workspace, click on the Tags dropdown next to a specific user and click Create a tag. Enter your tag name and click Save. You can now assign any users in your workspace to that tag.

To assign a custom tag, click on the Tags dropdown next to a specific user and check the box next to the tag name. You can assign as many custom tags to a user as needed. To unassign a custom tag, simply uncheck the box next to the tag name.

To rename or delete a tag, click on the Tags tab at the top of the page. Click Rename, enter the updated name and click the Update button to save. Or click Delete and select the Delete button to confirm.

You can use Tags to share content in your workspace more easily. For example, when creating an update, you can choose which tags will be able to see the update.
