Do products purchased before February 1, 2026 retain their entitlement to free repairs under the statutory warranty?

Updated yesterday

The legal situation:

The acquisition of assets as part of an asset deal does not result in universal succession. This means that the statutory warranty obligation for purchases made before the cut-off date remains legally with the insolvent SUSHI Mobility GmbH. As this company has ceased operations, warranty claims from the period prior to February 1, 2026, cannot be legally enforced against the new legal entity, SUSHI Bikes GmbH.

Our promise:

Even though we are not legally obliged to do so, our goal is for you to continue to enjoy your SUSHI BIKE. SUSHI Bikes GmbH will therefore examine each case individually and, within the scope of our possibilities, try to offer you a solution (e.g., by supplying replacement parts or technical support). Please contact our service team with your proof of purchase.
