Role: Administrator or Project Creator with project administration rights.
Personnel changes and reassignments may warrant you to remove user access to a project and prevent access to project data hosted by the Xpedition Viewer application.
Restrictions and Limitations
Project users with Editor, Viewer, or Guest Viewer roles cannot remove themselves from a project. Only a project user with an Administrator role can remove a user from a project (see User Roles).
The project creator with administrator rights cannot be removed from the project.
Prerequisites
You have an Administrator role for the project.
The project’s Users page is open in your web browser and displays the names of users who can access the project.
Procedure
On the Users page, select a user’s name and click Remove User From Project.
When the confirmation box displays, click Remove to terminate the user's access to the project or click Cancel to stop the removal process.
Results
When you click Remove, the software:
Confirms that the user’s name was successfully removed from the project and from the project’s Users page.
Removes the project name from the user’s “Shared With Me” page (Projects page).
Sends an email notification to each user of the project collaboration team that the removed user can no longer access the project information.
