Introduction

The Engage section in Swiftwebsites.ai acts as your built-in CRM (Customer Relationship Manager). Every lead, form submission, order, or message collected through your websites, funnels, or membership areas is automatically stored here.

With Engage you can:

  • Track and manage contacts in a CRM-style dashboard

  • View and filter messages from forms or pages

  • Use tags and custom properties to organize your audience

  • Segment contacts for targeted follow-up

CRM – Managing Your Contacts

  • Every form submission automatically creates a contact record in the CRM.

  • Contact profiles display:

    • Submitted forms and messages

    • Orders (if eCommerce is enabled)

    • Notes and custom data

  • You can:

    • Edit contact details

    • Tag contacts for organization (e.g., “New User”)

    • Filter contacts using tags or properties

    • Save filters as segments (e.g., “All New Users”)

    • Delete, export, or manually add new contacts

Messages – Tracking Form Submissions

  • All form messages are listed in the Messages section.

  • You can filter messages by form name to see which page or funnel they came from.

  • Export messages for reporting or backup.

  • Click on a message to open the contact profile directly in the CRM.

Tags and Custom Properties

  • Tags let you categorize users quickly (e.g., New User, VIP, Subscriber).

  • Custom properties allow you to collect and store unique information about users.

    • Example: Add an Age property (number type).

    • Make the property available on forms, so submissions automatically populate the CRM.

  • This makes your CRM flexible, letting you capture the exact data you need for your business.

Using Engage with Forms

  • Add fields like name, email, phone, or custom properties (e.g., age) to forms.

  • When a user submits a form, data is:

    • Sent to your CRM

    • Stored in the Messages section

    • Available for segmentation and filtering

  • You can also set email notifications for each form submission.

Best Practices

  • Keep contact data organized with consistent tagging.

  • Create segments for groups you need to target regularly (e.g., trial users, paid customers).

  • Use custom properties only for important data you’ll act on. Keep forms simple for higher conversion.

  • Regularly export your CRM data as a backup.

  • Set up email notifications to ensure you don’t miss new leads.

  • View contacts in the CRM with full profiles and activity history
