For contactless payments to work properly on itel phones, follow these steps:
Set up NFC and default payment service
Open the Settings app
Tap Connected devices or Connection & sharing
Tap NFC and turn NFC On (only available on NFC-enabled itel models)
Tap Contactless payments / Tap & pay and select Swoo Pay (or Google Wallet) as the default payment app
Set up permissions for Swoo
Return to the main menu of the Settings app
Go to Apps → See all apps → Swoo
Tap Battery saver and choose No restrictions (prevents itel OS from putting the app to sleep)
Tap Mobile data and make sure Allow background data usage stays On
Tap Display over other apps and allow the permission
(If shown) go back, tap Modify system settings, and allow
Menu item names and their order may be different on your phone. If you can’t find the right settings, visit the itel support site for help or reach our support team any way you like
