How to troubleshoot SMS card verification issues in the Swoo app?

If you're having trouble receiving or entering the SMS code to verify your card, try these solutions:

Solution 1: Check your phone number

  1. Make sure the phone number linked to your card is correct

  2. Check the number in your card profile in your bank's app

  3. If the number is incorrect, update it with your bank

Solution 2: Check signal quality

  • Ensure you have a good mobile signal

  • SMS may be delayed with weak signal

  • Try moving to a location with better network coverage

Solution 3: Wait and retry

  1. SMS may arrive with a delay (up to 5 minutes)

  2. Don't request the code again immediately

  3. Wait 3-5 minutes before trying again

Solution 4: Check spam filters

  • Some phones automatically filter SMS messages

  • Check your spam or blocked messages folder

  • Make sure SMS from your bank aren't blocked

Solution 5: Contact your bank

If the problem persists:

  • Contact your bank's support service

  • Ensure SMS notifications for your card are activated

  • Check if there are any restrictions on receiving SMS from third parties

Tip: If you have dual SIM cards, make sure the number linked to your card is using the active SIM with good signal.
