A proof of identity can be either a valid Passport or valid UK Photocard Driving Licence (either a scan or a photo), clearly showing the following:
Your photo – a clear image of you
Your details – your full name and Date of Birth
Expiry date – when the document provided will expire
Document number – your passport or driving licence number
Machine Readable Zone – the two lines of letters and numbers positioned between >>>>>>>>>> and <<<<<<< must be clearly visible
Issuing country – what country issued the document
Name of issuer – what government entity issued the document
All of this information must be visible in one clear image.
