As part of your registration with Tabeo, we will verify and validate your bank account details. This protects your security and ensures that no-one without your authority can misuse your bank account.
Bank account verification
When you register we will run checks to ensure that your bank account name, account and sort code are genuine and match up with each other.
Validating your Bank Account details and controls
During your registration process, we ask you to send a recent bank statement or a picture of a cheque book.
Please document clearly states your banks logo, sort code, account number and account name
If you are sending a bank statement, it must be dated from the last 90 days
You can send this to merchant@tabeo.co.uk
Once you have sent the document, just click "Verify bank details" so we can check it has arrived
Don't forget that while we do this, you are still free to start new transaction with your customers. However, money can only be paid out to you, after your bank account has been verified.
