The reader must be connected to the same wifi network as the computer/laptop that it will be used on. Please also ensure your computer/laptop has been updated with the latest software updates.
If you need to update the wifi network
To access the terminal settings, you need to swipe from left to right, then click settings, then enter the pin (07139). Click on network and select the appropriate wifi.

Please go to your router settings or ask your IT contact to update your DNS (IPv4) on the router to router DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Ensure that the following protocols, ports and IP addresses are allowlisted within your LAN:
TCP port 4443
TCP port 443 (HTTPS)
UDP port 53 (DNS)
Furthermore, all the domains listed on https://stripe.com/docs/ips must be allowlisted within your firewall settings.
If you are prompted with a "Set Network Location" prompt on a Windows computer, Stripe Terminal requires that you select the "Work" option. Selecting "Home" will block the network connections required for Stripe Terminal to function.
