Your First 48 Hours With Tailored Tutors

What to do first on your free trial, in what order, and what happens when the 48 hours end.

Written by JJ

Your trial gives you unlimited access to everything in your course for 48 hours. That is enough time to find out whether Tailored Tutors works for you, but only if you actually use it. Here is the fastest route.

Do these five things, in this order

1. Build your 30-day Personal Study Plan (5 minutes). Open the side menu (three lines, top left), go to your subject Home section and click Personal Study Plan. It is also featured under the search bar on your subject Home page. Answer a few questions and you get a week-by-week plan of exactly which lessons and past-paper questions to do, sized to the hours you have.

2. Watch one lesson properly (15 minutes). Pick the first lesson in Week 1 of your plan. Download the Template Note from the topic page, watch a chunk, pause, write. See How To Learn A Lesson.

3. Do the quiz and mark it like an examiner. Only tick a mark point if you actually wrote it. This is where the learning happens.

4. Set your Progress Tracker light. At the bottom of the lesson, answer "How do you feel about this lesson?" with green, amber or red. Your subject Home page then shows your progress across the whole course.

5. Ask a question. Ask the AI Tutor at the bottom of any lesson page. If it does not fully answer, click "Still Stuck? Ask A Human Tutor" and one of our tutors will reply within 24 hours.

What happens after 48 hours

If you do nothing, your membership continues and the card you entered at checkout is charged for your first month. Everything you have done (your study plan, your Progress Tracker, your questions) carries straight on.

If it is not for you, cancel before the 48 hours are up and you will not be charged. Here is how: Cancel Membership.
