About Failed Payments
If you started your Membership as a subscription (i.e. as a weekly or monthly subscription, and not as a multi-month one-time payment package), our system will attempt to collect payment from your card on a recurring basis congruent with your subscription until you cancel it.
If the attempt to collect payment fails (due to insufficient funds or any other reason), your Membership will immediately end and you'll be unenrolled from the course, losing access.
Once you've lost access, simply changing your account payment details inside the Academy will not restart your Membership.
In order to regain access to your course, you will need to resubscribe via the checkout process on the TT public website once more.
Note: It is solely the student's responsibility to know when their billing date is and to ensure there are appropriate funds in their account to cover the fee for their Tailored Tutors Membership in order to keep access to their course.
We make every effort to ensure students understand how our subscription service works, and provide clear and readily available instructions to support them to manage their subscriptions—we cannot be responsible for unenrollment due to failed payments.
About Discounts Attached To Your Membership
Students should be aware that any discounts applied to their existing Membership will only remain as long as that specific Membership is live.
This means: if you end your Membership, or are automatically unenrolled due to failed payment (or any other reason), your discount will end too.
Students who lose their discount due to automatic unenrollment in these cases are not entitled to receive the same discount again.
How to change your payment details:
Your billing period matches the subscription you chose at checkout (it is either weekly or monthly). After changing your payment details, you will be billed your subscription fee on the new card on the same recurring cycle as you would've been billed on your previous card.
Payment details must be changed before your billing date in order to preserve your access—changing your payment details after your payment has already failed will not automatically restart your Membership.
To change your payment details to another card to ensure your Membership payment is successful, please follow these steps:
Step 1. Log in to your course.
Step 2. Click on your name in the top right hand corner of your course screen.
Step 3. Click "My Account".
Step 4. Click "Add / Change Credit Card".
Step 5. For security purposes, you will be prompted to log in again. Do that.
Step 6. Change your payment details.
Note: We cannot change your payment details for you.
