What happens if you have a failed payment, and what to do about it.

About Failed Payments

Our system will attempt to collect payment from your card every 28-30 days on a rolling basis until you cancel your Membership. If the first attempt fails (due to insufficient funds or another reason), you will be notified via email.

You must update your payment details within 24hrs of receiving notification of failed payment.

Our system will attempt to collect payment a second time about 24hrs later. If the second attempt fails, you will be automatically unenrolled and lose access to your course.

Once you've lost access, changing your payment details will not restart your Membership.

To regain access to your course, you will need to resubscribe via the Return Users section of our website.

Note: It is solely the student's responsibility to know when their billing date is and to ensure there are appropriate funds in their account to cover the fee for their Tailored Tutors Membership.

We make every effort to ensure students understand how our subscription service works, and provide clear and readily available instructions to support them to manage their subscription—we cannot be responsible for unenrollment due to failed payments.

About Discounts Attached To Your Membership

Students should be aware that any discounts applied to their existing Membership will only remain as long as that specific Membership is live.

This means: if you end your subscription, or are automatically unenrolled due to failed payments, your discount will end too.

Students who lose their discount due to cancellation or being unenrolled due to failed payments are not entitled to receive the same discount again.

How to change your payment details:

Step 1. Log in to your course.

Step 2. Click "My TT", then "My Account", then "My Profile".

Step 3. Click "Add / Change Credit Card".

Step 4. For security purposes, you will be prompted to log in again. Do that.

Step 5. Change your payment details.

Note: We cannot change your payment details for you.

Reminder: Your billing period is 28-30 days long. You will be billed the same amount on or around the same date as you would've been on your previous card.
