Tailwind sends out many documents on your behalf — whether it’s a Load Confirmation for your Carriers and Drivers or an Invoice to your Customers. Whenever possible, these documents should represent your company’s specific brand and business practices, so Tailwind allows you to customize certain aspects of each document.

Configuration: Company Information & Logo

Ensuring that your basic Company Information and logo are correctly set up is a crucial first step in making sure your documents look like yours. This information is used in many documents and should be kept up to date.

Configuration: Document Fields

In addition to your company information, you also can modify or insert information on specific documents.

To customize these documents, start by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner. This will bring up the Configuration menu. Next, select the ‘Documents’ menu and click on the ‘Document Fields’ option. This will bring up the Document Fields configuration.

The process of configuration is fairly straightforward. When you select a field from the ‘Field Name’ drop-down, the ‘Field Text’ area will show what is currently being printed on the document in question. Some of these fields are empty by default, while others contain generic, industry-standard information.

Once you have made changes to the field in question, click the ‘Save’ button to save those changes.
