🔑 Login Issues & Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting steps for common login problems, such as incorrect passwords or server issues.

Most login issues on the TradeLocker platform can be resolved immediately by resetting your trading password through your dashboard. Please follow this guide before contacting support.

Step 1: The Quick Fix (Password Reset)

In most cases, updating your password through the dashboard synchronizes your account and restores access instantly.

  1. Access your Dashboard: Go to https://dashboard.takecapft.com/

  2. Login: Use your dashboard email and password.

  3. Navigate to Resources: In the left sidebar menu, click on "Resources".

  4. Update Password: Under the TradeLocker section, click the "Change Trading Platform Password" button.

  5. Confirm: Set a new password and save changes.

  6. Wait & Retry: Wait 1–2 minutes, then try logging into TradeLocker again with the new credentials.

🔍 Step 2: Basic Checklist

If the password reset didn't work, ensure you are following these requirements:

  • Correct Server: Ensure the server name is exactly TCFT

  • Copy and Paste Your Credentials: To avoid errors, please copy and paste the email and password directly from your credentials email. Manually typing can lead to mistakes with similar characters (e.g., 'I' vs. 'l' or '0' vs. 'O').

  • Account Types: Remember that your Dashboard login and your TradeLocker login are separate. Use the credentials found in the "Resources" tab for the trading platform. Ensure you are not mixing them up:

  1. Where does it fail? Tell us exactly which step of the tutorial above you couldn't complete.

  2. Screenshot of the error: Send a picture of the exact message (e.g., "Invalid Credentials" or "Server Timeout").

  3. Platform: Are you using the Mobile App or the Web Browser?

  4. Video (Optional but Recommended): A quick screen recording of you trying to change the password and then trying to log in helps us solve the issue much faster.
