Understanding the Document Review Process in Take Command

The document review and approval process by Take Command is vital for ensuring eligibility and compliance with reimbursement policies. Below, we address key topics to help clarify statuses, timelines, and user responsibilities during the process.

What Does the Document Status Indicate?

  • In Review: When the document status reads "in review," it means that your submission is under assessment by the appropriate team. If the documents meet all the requirements, they will be approved, making the individual eligible for reimbursements.

  • Pending or Reviewing: A "pending" or "reviewing" status means your Proof of Coverage (POC) or other documents have been successfully submitted and are queueing to be reviewed by the compliance team. No additional action is required on your side. If further information is needed, the team will reach out to you.

  • Needing to be Reviewed: This status specifically for Proof of Insurance indicates successful submission of the required documents, which are now awaiting review.

How Long Does the Review Process Take?

Documents that are submitted for review and approval in the Take Command application are typically processed within 7–10 business days. However, this timeline may be influenced by factors like submission volume or occasional requests for additional information. Here are a few highlights:

  • Documents are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • For most documents, an email notification containing the approval decision will be sent as soon as the review is done.

  • In certain situations, high submission volumes or rare holidays might extend wait times.

What Are My Responsibilities During the Review Process?

  • No Action Required: Once you have submitted your documents, there’s no action required from your end unless specifically asked. Take Command will carry out the entire review independently.

Notifications and Follow-Ups

  • You are advised to monitor your dashboard on the Take Command portal regularly to track the progress of your submission.

  • Email notifications will inform you of approval decisions or requests for further information to complete the process.

Stay assured that all necessary assessments are thoroughly conducted by the team to ensure compliance and transparency.
