Terminate an employee:
Admins will want to initiate this function when an employee on their roster is no longer ineligible to participate in the HRA. Besides an employee no longer being employed with your company, it could also be that they become ineligible, based on other company policies.
Scheduling a termination date
When scheduling a termination, here are some things to remember:
The option to change the termination date is only available when editing the employee profile.
When modifying the termination date, the same termination date selector rules apply as when defining it initially. Those are:
Today’s Date
Future Dates:
If selected, the termination event will occur on the specified date.
Invalid Dates (Past Dates or Beyond 60 Days from Today):
These dates cannot be selected.
If an invalid date is manually entered, you will see the following message:
“You must pick a day between today and MM/DD/YYYY (plus 60 days from the current date)”.
Saving Changes:
Any modifications to the termination date will not take effect until the profile is saved.

Send an invite link:

Frequently asked questions
Can I mark an employee as 'Waived' from the Admin Portal?
No. Employers cannot set an employee's status to Waived from the Admin Portal. The employee must submit the waiver themselves through their Member Portal. You can guide the employee to sign in to their Member Portal and select Waive Coverage during their active enrollment window.
If an employee's waiver window has closed and they did not submit in time, contact Customer Experience — manual waiver processing may be possible in certain circumstances.
What does 'Send Sign-Up Link' do when the employee has already signed up?
If an employee has already completed first login and created their account, the 'Send Sign-Up Link' option will be disabled (greyed out or unavailable) — you cannot resend an invitation to an already-active account. If the employee needs to log in again, they should use the Forgot Password flow at the standard sign-in page.
I added an employee but they do not appear in the roster — what should I do?
If you added an employee and they are not appearing in the People table:
Check the status filter — new employees may appear under the 'Pending Invite' or 'Invited' filter rather than the default Active view.
Clear all filters and search by the employee's name or email directly.
If the employee does not appear under any filter, contact Customer Experience — the addition may not have saved correctly on the backend.
I accidentally added myself as an employee — how do I remove myself?
If you appear in the employee roster as a participant but should be admin-only, contact Customer Experience. Self-removal from the employee roster may require backend adjustment to avoid account conflicts, especially if your account is associated with both admin and employee roles.
What is the difference between 'Terminated' and 'Inactive' status?
In the HRA Hub Admin Portal, a terminated employee's status changes to Inactive and they appear in the Inactive tab of the People table. The label Suspended is also used in some portal configurations to indicate a terminated employee who is within their 90-day runout period. Both mean eligibility has ended — the difference is only in labeling across portal versions.
Employees in Inactive/Suspended status can still submit claims for eligible expenses incurred during their active period, for up to 90 days after their termination date.
