Are mid-contract rate changes keeping you up at night? Do you dread the question of "We only need half days on Wednesdays until the end of the contract now" - well, you are going to LOVE the Update Future Bookings feature.

Simply head to the day of the first booking in the Candidate's shift cycle you want to bulk make changes from. Make the amendments you need, and press Update Future Bookings. You will be able to en-mass update all Draft, Initial, Live* and you can even include Cancelled bookings from that date into the future for that Candidate at that role.

*If you are a Pay and Bill user, please note that you will only be able to update Live bookings if they have not been processed in Payroll. For more information on this, please reach out

Let's show you how it's done!

Start by finding the booking of the candidate and job on the day you want to make the booking changes from. Please note that any bookings for this candidate in the past of this date will not be updated in the Update Future Bookings flow

Next if the booking is in Initial or Draft stage, you can jump right in and amend this booking as you need. However, if the booking is in Live stage you will need to move this back into Initial while you make changes.

Top Tip! - Are you unable to move a booking back from Live? This could be down to your user permissions, please reach out to your internal Super-User or Talisman via live chat and we will be able to assist

Once you have made all your edits and updates, press the Update Future Bookings in the top right corner to look for all future bookings at that job for that candidate to mass update.

There will then be a pop-out in the middle of the screen broken into different elements

1. Field Update Selection - The awesome thing about the update all feature, is you can pick and choose exactly which fields you have just updated that you want to apply to all future bookings. Enabling you to do you individual updates and bulk updates at the same time

2. Include Cancelled Bookings - When a candidate has a set work pattern, and they had sickness/holiday this week, but you still want to ensure consistency with the information on their bookings. The include cancelled will let you update their bookings too when toggled on

3. Bookings Selector - the list view breaks down all the future bookings that this candidate has at this job. You can see what status they are, and the date. You can pick and choose which bookings you want to update, and which you might want to leave out (for example, if you only want to update the shift time for Wednesdays - you only need to select Wednesdays!)

Live Booking Blockers

For our Pay and Bill customers, as you will know a Live booking will indicate that this booking is going through timesheet approval/payroll for the current week. If you see a Live booking you want to update that is faded out like below, this will be because the timesheet is in open, run or posted status. You will need to reach out to your Payroll team to make changes in this instance to ensure the Payroll and CRM figures are fully aligned.
