Learn how to edit student information in your Clever or ClassLink TalkingPoints account

Clever and ClassLink run nightly syncs to update any changes that may have been made in your SIS and reflect them in TalkingPoints. However, to ensure that families are receiving communication in their preferred language, you are able to change the language directly from your teacher or admin account.

To change a home language please follow these easy steps:

On the web:

Step 1: Open up the class roster where the student whose information you wish to edit is in and click the three dots to the right of their name.

Step 2: Click edit student and scroll down to their contacts. Click on the three dots of the contact you wish to edit and click edit contact.

Step 3: Click on language and choose the desired language you wish to set for the family.

On the mobile app:

  1. Select the student whose information you'd like to edit.

  2. Select 'Edit' in the top right corner.

  3. Select "Edit" and add or change what you need to.

Note: Everything else will be overwritten with the nightly sync with the SIS (Student Information System) so it will need to be changed there instead.
