What Is Course Preview?

When you set a course on sale to "Share with the world", all content within the course is automatically locked. This means that users cannot view any content unless they purchase the course.
However, you can choose to make specific content available as a free preview.

How to Unlock Specific Content for Preview

To allow users to preview certain content before purchasing, follow these steps:

1. Make sure your course has the right visibility

After creating your course, set its visibility to "Share with the world" so it can be purchased by users.

Be sure to enable the “Activate sale” toggle, you can find it in the “Sale” section within the edit course page.

You can find more about activating sale in this guide:

By default, all content inside the course remains locked, ensuring that only paying customers have access.

2. Locate and unlock locked content

From the course preview page, each content item will display a lock icon. This indicates that the content is not accessible without purchase.

Click on the lock icon next to the content you want to make available.

A menu will appear with two options:

  • Blocked (default setting) – The content remains restricted and requires purchase to access.

  • Unlocked – The content is now freely accessible to all visitors.

Select Unlocked to allow users to view this content as a preview.

3. Save and Confirm Changes

Once you have unlocked the desired content, it will be immediately accessible as a free preview.

Users can now explore this content before deciding to purchase the full course.
