When Can You Attach a Certificate?

A certificate can only be associated with a course after the course has

been created. It is not possible to attach a certificate during the course

creation process—you must first finalize the course and then add the certificate afterward.

If you need to know how to create a Certificate, check out this guide: Create a Certificate.

How to Associate a Certificate to a Course

1. Ensure the Course is Created

Navigate to your Taylora Dashboard and verify that your course is fully set up. If the course is still in the creation phase, complete it first before proceeding.

2. Edit a Course

  • Click on the course you want to modify.

  • Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the top-right corner.

  • Click on “Edit Course”.

3. Select and add your certificate

  • Go to the “Advanced” tab when editing your course.

  • Click on “Enable Certificates” button.

  • Select the certificate you want to associate.

4. Confirm and Save

Once selected, the certificate is now linked to the course. Learners who complete the course will be able to download the certificate automatically.

How It Works for Learners

Once a learner completes all required content in the course, they will gain access to their certificate. The certificate is auto-filled with their name and the course title. They can download the certificate directly from their account.

Key Points to Remember

  • A course must be fully created before a certificate can be attached.

  • Certificates are assigned through the course settings after creation.

  • Learners automatically receive their certificate upon course completion.
