When you create or upload content on Taylora, you can choose between three visibility types to control who can access your elements (videos, PDFs, links, and courses). Each option is designed to suit specific needs, from complete privacy to public sharing.

1. Just for me

This is the default setting for any element created on Taylora. With "Just for me" visibility:

  • Your content is safe in your dashboard and only visible to you.

  • Even though the content has a unique URL, no one can access it.

  • It is the only option available for users on the Free plan.

This mode is ideal for organizing and storing personal content without sharing it.

When to use it:

  • To save drafts of your content.

  • To upload private or personal material.

2. Share privately

This mode is perfect for sharing content with specific people while maintaining privacy and full control over access.
With "Share privately" visibility:

  • You can decide who gets access by assigning read-only or edit permissions.

  • Share access through:

    • Direct invitations.

    • Generating a unique token-based link (one-shot), ensuring secure access.

  • The content's webpage is not indexed or publicly visible.

When to use it:

  • For sensitive materials, such as company documents or private files.

  • To collaborate with customers or colleagues without making the content public.

3. Share with the world

This mode makes your content publicly accessible.
With "Share with the world" visibility:

  • Elements have a public webpage that anyone with the link can access.

  • Use this mode for:

    • Free content: immediately accessible.

    • Paid content: visible only after purchase. For courses, creators can choose whether to display the internal content or only the title and description.

When to use it:

  • To promote your content online.

  • To sell courses or digital materials.

Which mode is right for you?

Your choice of visibility depends on your goals:

  • Do you just want to organize your content? Maintain "Just for me".

  • Need to share it with a select audience? Use "Share privately".

  • Want to promote or sell it online? Go for "Share with the world".
