Only school administrators using the School Interface can add cleaning or daily assessment checklist templates. Once the template is added, staff using the app can complete checklists in seconds. Please watch the tutorial video to see how this is done or read the help text below:

To get started, click here or log into the school interface and select Compliance > Checklist.

Let's take cleaning sheets as our example [remember, daily assessments can be used for anything like fire safety checklists, first aid box checklists and more]:

  1. Select ‘Add new checklist’

  2. Enter the name of the checklist.

  3. Enter the area or item to be cleaned.

  4. Enter the frequency that this area or item is to be cleaned. For example, ‘daily’

  5. Enter the ‘products to be used', during the cleaning process

  6. Select ‘add another’ to add multiple areas, frequency and products to be used for the checklist. See further help text below, to learn how to link specific checklists to room and edit checklists:

Segmenting Checklists, which option to choose when saving the checklist:

  1. You can segment the cleaning sheet by room or by the whole school. Whole school checklists are usually checklists which are completed once per day by management OR if you only have one room on TeachKloud. Otherwise, we recommend segmenting the checklist by rooms.

  2. Select ‘Save checklist’
