Important

The following provides help on accessing the screen recording option on the most popular devices. For the most accurate and detailed instructions, users should refer to the user manual or support website for their specific device model.

Oftentimes, searching using Google with the following: "How do I record my screen using [insert name of your device name and model - for example, iPhone 11], will provide a video and/or instructions.

If this is not possible, please contact TeachKloud Support to arrange an alternative method, such as a Zoom call or record your screen using another device.

6. Lenovo Tablets (Android-based)

  1. Access the Quick Settings Panel:

    • Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the quick settings panel. If your tablet uses a modified version of Android, this might look slightly different.

  2. Look for the Screen Recording Feature:

    • In the quick settings, look for an icon labeled as “Screen record”, “Screen recorder”, or something similar. Lenovo tablets that don't have this feature by default may require a third-party app to enable screen recording.

    • If you don’t see the screen recording icon, you might need to swipe left or look for an edit button (often depicted as a pencil icon) to add the screen recording option to your quick settings.

  3. Start Recording:

    • Tap the screen recording icon. You might be prompted to choose sound settings (like recording audio from the microphone, the device, or none).

    • Follow any on-screen instructions to begin recording. There’s usually a short countdown before the recording starts.

  4. Control the Recording:

    • Once the recording starts, you should see a control icon in the notification area or on the screen. Use this to pause or stop the recording.

    • Some Lenovo tablets offer additional features like annotating while recording.

  5. Stop Recording:

    • To stop the recording, tap the stop button in the control icon area.

    • The recording will be automatically saved to your gallery or a specified folder.

  6. Accessing Your Recording:

    • Access the recording from your tablet’s gallery or file manager, where you can view, edit, or share it.
