Sections on Student Profiles Teachers Can Access

Teachers are able to view the profiles of students that have been assigned to them or if they have a lesson scheduled with them. However, there are a number of sections that will only be visible depending on the permissions that have been specified for them.

Below is a table that lists all of the sections on a student's profile that teachers can see, as well as the permissions required to see it:

Family Information

Always Visible when viewing Child Student profiles.

Contact Information

Visible if the "Student Contact Info" permission is set to "View".

Teacher Shared Notes

Visible if the "Teacher Student Note Field" setting in the "Employee Account Settings" section of the Account Settings page is set to "On".

Additional Details

Always Visible.

This section displays the Custom Profile Fields you've created that teachers have access to view.

Notifications

Always Visible.

User Account

Always Visible.

Notes & Communications

Visible if the Note & Communications Log Add-on is enabled.

Result Tracking

Visible if the Results Tracking Add-on is enabled.

Package Balances

Always Visible.

Upcoming Lessons

Always Visible.

If the "Lesson Cost" permission is set to "View", the cost of the lesson will be displayed.

Recent Lessons

Always Visible.

If the "Lesson Cost" permission is set to "View", the cost of the lesson will be displayed.

Shared Resources

Visible if the Shared Profile Resources Add-on is enabled.

Files

Visible if the Profile Attachments Add-on is enabled and the "Upload Files" permission is set to "On".

Individual Files are visible if the "Teacher Access" permission is set to "Visible" when uploading a file.
