Deleting a Student or Family

In order to delete a student, all records associated with that student must be deleted first. If you do not wish to delete the records, you can set the student status to "Inactive" by following the steps below:

  1. Click on "Students" and then click on "Students".

  2. Click on the "Edit" button next to the student you'd like to make inactive.

  3. In the "Status" field, select "Inactive".

  4. Submit the form to save your changes.

Deleting a Child Student

If you wish to delete a child student, all the lessons associated with that child must be removed from the calendar first. You can find the steps for deleting lessons here: Deleting Lessons.

After removing the lessons you can follow the steps below:

  1. Click on "Students" and then click on "Students".

  2. Click on the "Delete" button next to the student you'd like to delete.

  3. Click on "OK" in the pop-up to confirm the deletion.

Deleting an Independent Student

If you wish to delete an independent student, all of their invoices, payments, and any lessons associated with that student must be deleted first. You can find the steps for deleting each of these records in the following articles:

After removing their invoices, payments and lessons, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on "Students" and then click on "Students".

  2. Click on the "Delete" button next to the student you'd like to delete.

  3. Click on "OK" in the pop-up to confirm the deletion.

Deleting a Family

To delete a family, all children of the family must be deleted first, as well as all the invoices and payments associated with that family. (See instructions to delete invoices, students, and payments above)
