New Features & Updates

Policy Engine

We’ve expanded Policy Engine to give you even greater flexibility and control over how your scheduling policies are configured and displayed. In addition to supporting custom Shift Claim Rules on the Mobile Calendar, you can now create and surface custom Scheduling Policies directly within Web Calendar views.

This new capability effectively replaces the older Scheduling Analysis tool—offering deeper customization and making it easier than ever to tailor your scheduling workflows to match the needs of your business. Policy Engine is currently available as a beta feature.

Dependent Fields

Following last month’s update, Dependent Fields are now fully supported within Tasks. This enhancement allows you to:

  • Dynamically show or hide fields

  • Control whether fields are required or optional

  • Restrict available options based on selections made in other fields

The result: better data capture, more intelligent forms, and a more guided experience for your Users — ensuring that you get the right information, at the right time.

‘Shift has Overtime’ Automation Condition

To help you stay ahead of potential overtime situations, we’ve added a powerful new automation condition: Shift has Overtime. This makes it easy to build workflows that:

  • Flag shifts that would push users into overtime

  • Notify administrators for proactive adjustments

  • Trigger approval requests from clients

  • Highlight shifts for review in reporting

With this new condition, you can fine-tune your automations to ensure smooth operations, better labor management, and improved cost control.

Okta Integration

We’re excited to introduce our new Okta integration, bringing Single Sign-On (SSO) to both Web and Mobile experiences. This makes access seamless for your users, streamlines onboarding, and enhances security—all while providing a frictionless login experience.

Checkr Integration

Our new Checkr integration can now be added into your mobile onboarding flow for fast, smooth, and secure background checks. With this streamlined experience, your team can:

  • Accelerate hiring and onboarding

  • Ensure compliance and safety

  • Maintain a great candidate experience—all within a few taps
