If you're a Dialpad user, you need to use your Dialpad account to login to Surfboard.
If your company doesn't use Dialpad, please refer to this article instead.
How to login
Note: An admin needs to have already added you to a Surfboard account in order for you to login.
For agents and supervisors
Login to the Dialpad App
Navigate to the Ai Contact Centers tab
Click the WFM button in the top right corner
You'll be taken to a login screen. Click 'Continue with Dialpad'
Your Dialpad account will be used to authorise access to Surfboard. From now on you'll be able to jump between the two accounts without having to login again.
For admins
If you are the admin setting up the Surfboard account for the first time, you will be invited to join by your CSM.
Login to the Dialpad Admin App
Click the WFM button in the side navigation bar
You'll be taken to a login screen. Click 'Continue with Dialpad'
Your Dialpad account will be used to authorise access to Surfboard. From now on you'll be able to jump between the two accounts without having to login again.

Why do I need to login using my Dialpad account?
Companies using Dialpad need to login using their Dialpad account to ensure continuity of data and billing across the two platforms.
Benefits include:
You can seamlessly move from where you work (Dialpad) to where your time is managed (Surfboard).
Your personal details (name, email, timezone) will stay in sync between the two apps, so if you change your name (e.g. you get married) it will update in both places.
Your Dialpad profile picture will be stored and shown as your avatar within Surfboard.
Can I login with email and password instead?
No. Companies using Dialpad need to login using their Dialpad account
Our company uses Google, can I login with Google instead?
No. Companies using Dialpad need to login using their Dialpad account. If you use Google to login to Dialpad, then that data will still be tied to your account.
Our company uses Okta, can I login with Okta instead?
No. Companies using Dialpad need to login using their Dialpad account. If you use Okta to login to Dialpad, then that data will still be tied to your account.
I tried to login another way but got an error, what happened?
There are three reasons your login may have failed:
Your company doesn't have Surfboard access. Companies must have a WFM license to use the tool.
You haven't been added to your company's Surfboard account yet. You need to be added to the account in order to login.
You tried to login another way. If your company uses Dialpad, then you must login using your Dialpad account. Make sure you select 'Continue with Dialpad' from the login screen.
