Our mission is to provide educators with a first-class resource to produce high-quality, tailored assessments for their classroom in under 1 minute. Based on your feedback, we are thrilled to announce a number of improvements coming to Campfire's activity builder (TEKSbank Classroom via Region 10 ESC).

The most important part of any online experience is knowing you have resources to help you make the most out of our products. To that end, we've introduced LIVE online chat support. Our new chat interface also allows you to access Help articles for help off-hours. We've enjoyed connecting with educators around the country to help them understand how this tool changes the game for effortless assessment building. Our previous builder tended to offer educators the same selection of questions after completing the initial form. This wasn't optimal, or necessary; educators require diversity, and we have a massive bank of questions from which to choose. Our new builder does a much better job of keeping item selection as diverse as possible, while still conforming to the requirements of the activity.

Our previous activity builder restricted educators to a single grade level. Now, educators are able to draw from questions that span multiple grade levels.

Our form has been enhanced with more labels, callouts, and tooltips that let educators more confidently control how Campfire builds an activity.

We recognize that building activities for ELA classrooms often requires selecting passages that assist with assessing student knowledge. Our previous builder fell short of supporting that workflow. We encourage ELA educators to try our new builder that puts standard-based passages first in the process.

Our passage picker has also improved in a number of ways. We highlight standards you've selected to assess in your activity, but also show other standards a passage assesses. Educators can also filter passages by title, learning standard, and genre. The preview is also oriented in a better manner to make browsing from the collection of passages easier. We will also order the list of available passages according to how relevant they are to the standards you selected, ranking more standard matches higher in the list.

Campfire also now offers convenience options to: (1) automatically include ALL questions that are written for a passage; and/or (2) explicitly forbid our builder from pulling in any questions unless they are written for the selected passages.

Finally, when we've selected items for your activity, you have better visibility into how many questions, passages, and standards are being utilized in your activity. We also provide better tools to more quickly select multiple questions at one time for removal. The question preview also is laid out better to let you more easily read the passage and question at the same time.
