Logged Data Dashboard

The dashboards for Logged Data show different information depending on the type of data being viewed. To view a logged data event dashboard, navigate to Logged Data > then select the type of logged data (harvest, application, planting, Veris) or 'All Types'.

TELUS Agronomy uses dry bushels for display and calculations.

Dashboard Features

1. The dashboard for Logged Data allows the user to view and edit the data. The user may also create a new Target Event from a selected layer and run reports:

A. Grower, Farm, Field, Data Type, and Commodity

B. Tile or List View

C. Coverage or Interpolated

💡The system will remember your preference, so if you select Interpolated, then as you move from dashboard to dashboard it will default to Interpolated views.

D. Map

E. New Field Trial: Create a field trial using the logged data as the background image.

F. Create Zone: Create a zone using the logged data event as the layer.

G. Edit Logged Data Event: Change the average values as well as update the commodity.

H. Merge: If there are partial events that need to be merged into one complete event, this can be done using the merge option.

I. Inactivate: If an event is not necessary for the fertility Rx it can be inactivated so it does not cause an error while writing a yield removal Rx.

J. Show Raw Files: Takes users to the Raw Files for that event if they would like to download them.

K. New Target Event: Create a new target event using the logged data as a layer.

L. Report: For more information about reports see Logged Data Reports.

💡All Yield Dashboard Histograms use Quantile interpolation. This means each color break will be an even bucket. (7%)

Edit Logged Data Event

  1. Select 'Edit' to make any changes to the logged data event.

  2. It is especially important to make sure the Product Name matches the corrected dropdown commodity name to ensure fertility Rx utilizing logged data runs without error.

  3. Date, Season, Product Name, Commodity, Average, Minimum and Maximum are all editable.

4. The average or total for each operation can also be updated to reflect any corrections.

5. Select 'Preview' to see changes before saving.

Merge Harvest Logged Data

💡Merging is only available for Harvest data at this time.

After uploading raw files into the TELUS Agronomy Uploader, there are times the automatic merging will not merge all raw files to the desired event. Using the manual merge option selects the events that should make up an individual field event or complete coverage map. To merge events, the two or more events must be the same season, product, event type and have a planting associated with them.

  1. View each event for a specified Crop and Year.

2. After viewing all of the events select one and then select the 'Merge' Option below the coverage map.

3. A new window will render. Select the events you wish to 'Merge' with the selected event.

4. After the 'Merge' option is selected the events will all merge into one and display like the image below.

Create Planting from Logged Data Event

  1. Select the single product map.

  2. After the map updates so only the single product map is displayed, select 'Add Planting'.

3. A new window will render to create the Planting. The shapefile will resemble the shape of the as planted event. Fill in the necessary information.

4. Save the planting.

5. See Add a Planting for more specifics on planting creation.

Create Target Event

  1. Select 'New Target Event'.

  2. A new window will render. Enter the name of the Target Event.

3. The system will then open the Target Event interface with the logged data as the layer. For more help see Add/Edit Target Event .
