This page will review the current capabilities of MDT and TELUS Agronomy regarding Wireless Data Transfer.
What is a Mobile Data Transfer Device?
The MDT is a USB device that plugs into the monitor and allows data from the monitor to flow to the phone and then to MJD Ops Center. It is basically one step beyond a USB as you do not have to unplug it from the monitor and then plug into a computer to get the data to the Ops Center. Instead, it goes to the MDT, then the client can use their phone to move the data to Deere's cloud and then to My Files. It processes just like any data from JD Link or data manually uploaded to the Ops Center.
Which devices have MDT compatibility?
MDT is compatible with some competitive displays (see picture below). The data sets below are stored as ADAPT file types which are available for transfer from My John Deere to TELUS Agronomy through MJD Wireless Data Integration. Take Away's At This Time
Any Deere data (including that from 4640) that goes through MDT is sent to My Files in JD Ops center and if a WDT is a setup within TELUS Agronomy the data will come into TELUS Agronomy from the Ops Center.
