Our crop mapping page allows you to create an accurate boundary following base maps from Google and OpenStreetMaps.

In order to create your maps select the Draw New Crop Boundary box in the Crop Details screen -

Note - You can access this screen by clicking on any of the field/crop tiles on the Crops tab.

Once loaded, you will be presented with the following screen -

1 - Zoom in (+) or Out (-) on the map (scroll to zoom also available)

2 - Draw/Copy Polygons (boundaries).

3 - Edit/Erase your boundary.

4 - Current field boundary

5 - Map layer picker.

6 - OK (Save) & Cancel (Exit without saving)

To use Field Boundary outline -

Click the Use Field Boundary (

) button to use the outline of the field. The field will then fill with a block colour (that of the crop selected) and you can then click OK to save -

Selecting this first and then editing the outline to fit will also save time in the below steps.

To use a Custom boundary outline -

Click the Draw Polygons (

) button and place the first point on the map,within the outline of your current field boundary -

Clicking Finish after placing at least 3 points will close the polygon and complete your crop boundary automatically.
Should you need to remove a point, click Remove Last Vertex.
Should you need to cancel all points, click Cancel.
Any points that need adjusting can be edited in the next step.

Click each point, roughly round the area of your crop and then select the Edit (

)button.

The white points that now show and allow you to click and drag your boundary to the required area.
Solid white ones are main points, transparent ones will allow you to adjust between points, creating extra angles in the boundary resulting in a more accurate outline -
