New Field Boundaries dashboard

All field boundaries captured in your subscription can now be displayed in Insights.

When you load the Field Boundaries dashboard, you will first see a summary of the number of fields within your subscription with the green section of the bar chart indicating how many of those fields have boundaries mapped in GLGM.

If you then click on the green section of the bar chart, you will be taken to the satellite map view of your fields.

You can zoom the map to the area you are interested in, or use the search function to pan to a county or region.

Fields are colour coded by their soil type. When you hover on any field, all other fields for the same site will be highlighted.

New Field Boundaries data source

(Applies to Self-Serve users only)

When you start a new workbook, or add a data source to an existing workbook, you will now have the option to report on field boundary data using the GLGM_FieldBoundaries data source:

This data source gives you access to all the field boundaries. Add the “Field Geography” measure to the view to see the boundaries on a map view.

You can use the Map menu at the top to set the Background Map layer:
