Once your shift has started, you can perform the checkout in the app and register your worked hours. You have up to 7 days after the shift to do this. After that, the client will review your checkout and confirm the final details.
How to check out your shift
Open the app and go to My Work > Shifts
Find your shift under To do or go to the shift page
Tap Checkout, then tap Start checkout
What you’ll be asked
During checkout, you’ll be asked to:
Rate the workplace. Would you recommend others to work here? (Absolutely / Yes / No)
Enter your start and end times
Add your unpaid break times
Explain why you left early, if that happened
If the client sent you home early, you may still be entitled to a minimum number of paid hours
What happens after checkout
Once you've completed your checkout, the company will review it. They have up to 7 days after the shift to complete this. If they do not agree with the hours you submitted, you will receive a counteroffer.
If you agree with this, you can accept it and the payment process can start. If not, you'll have the option to make your own counteroffer. You can also add a message to explain to the company why you are proposing different hours.
The company will then review your checkout again and make a final decision.
Note! To speed up the payment process, the company can also choose to complete the checkout first. If this matches the hours of the original shift, the checkout will be processed immediately and you will be paid as quickly as possible. Nice and easy!
When will I get paid?
Once your hours are confirmed, you’ll usually get paid the following week. You can find more info about payment timing in the app and in this article.
