Can I use a payment method that’s already saved on another lease?

Learn how payment methods work across multiple leases. Payment methods are saved separately for each lease, so you’ll need to add and save the same bank account or card individually for every lease.

No. Payment methods are saved at the lease level and cannot be shared across multiple leases.

If you have more than one lease, you’ll need to add and save a payment method separately for each lease, even if you’re using the same bank account or credit/debit card.

Example

If you have Lease A and Lease B and want to pay both using the same bank account:

  1. Add the bank account under Lease A.

  2. Add the same bank account again under Lease B.

  3. You can then use that bank account to make payments on each lease independently.

This means you will need to verify the same bank account twice if you're using the same payment method on different leases.

Why does this happen?

Payment methods are associated with individual leases to ensure payments, payment history, and recurring payment settings are managed separately for each lease.
