How to Log Into the Tenant Portal Using a Passwordless Login with One-Time Passcode (OTP)

Learn how to securely access the Tenant Portal using a One-Time Passcode (OTP). Receive a unique login code by email or text message each time you sign in—no password required.

Overview

The Tenant Portal now offers a more secure and convenient login experience by eliminating the need for a permanent password. Instead of creating and remembering a password, tenants can log in using a One-Time Password (OTP).

Each time you access the Tenant Portal, a unique verification code will be generated and sent to the email address or phone number associated with your tenant account. Simply enter the OTP on the login screen to securely access your portal.

This passwordless login method enhances security by reducing the risk of compromised passwords while making it easier to access your account. If you do not receive the OTP, verify that your email address and phone number on file are current and accurate.

Please note that a new OTP is generated for each login attempt and can only be used once.

The Steps

  1. Head over to the new login page - https://app.doorloop.com/tenant-portal/login.

  2. There are two options available to you for login - Email , Phone, or Google or Apple SSO.

    • Email - Enter your email address and click Send Code. An email will be sent to you with a 6-digit verification code.

    • Phone - Enter your phone number and click Send Code. A text message will be sent to you with a 6-digit verification code.

    • Google or Apple SSO - You can also log in with your Google or Apple account that is associated with your tenant portal email address.

  3. Once you get your Verification Code, enter the code in the boxes and click Verify to log in. (Note that the code will be valid for 15 minutes. If not entered in that time frame, you will need to request a new code.)

Note: You still have to option to login via email and password if you prefer to stick to the old way of logging in. Read the article: How to Reset or Change Your Password From the Tenant Portal if you are looking to reset or change your password.
