How do I cancel a payment that is being processed?

Payments in progress on DoorLoop cannot be canceled—once submitted, you must wait for the payment to complete before requesting a refund.

Overview

The short answer is you cannot. You cannot stop or cancel an in-progress payment from the tenant portal. Once a payment has been submitted and is being processed, it can not be canceled. You will need to wait for the payment to finish processing or wait for the payment to be returned if there are insufficient funds.

In either case, you should contact your Property Manager for a refund on a duplicate payment or payment made in error. Returned payments will incur a Return Payment Fee so please double-check your payments before making them.
