What documents are accepted for income verification?

The following table lists examples of acceptable documentation for income verification purposes. It does not represent a full list of acceptable documents. Tenet uses submitted documentation to verify that the applicant is the receiver of the income, and that the reported income is accurate.

Income sources	Examples of acceptable documentation
Salaried, Full-Time and Part-Time Employees	Paystub within last Month. If you would like to include any annual or quarterly bonus in your income, please also upload last year’s W2 or final pay stub indicating the bonus received.
Self-Employed	Prior year 1040 with all Schedules (including Schedule C). Prior 3 months of Bank Statements.
Business Owner	Prior year Business Tax Documents including 1040 with all Schedules (including Schedule K-1). Prior 3 months of Personal Bank Statements showing Business Deposits into your Personal Account. Or Prior Year & Current Year to Date Business Profit & Loss Statements.
Vehicle Sharing Hosts	Screenshots from Turo or Getaround platforms, indicating that you have been a host for the last 6 months. For your second Tenet-financed vehicle and beyond, you must show in screenshots that your existing Tenet-financed vehicles are earning at least $1,200/month in revenue. For Vehicle Sharing Loans for Businesses, you must provide The Accepted docs for Business Owners. For Hosts with 10 or more Vehicles: Stable Business Financials. Additional eligibility criteria around time in business, utilization, revenue, etc.
Ride Sharing Drivers	Screenshots from Uber or Lyft platforms showing your last 2 Months of Earnings. Prior Year 1099's or your Uber Yearly Summary Form or Lyft Yearly Summary Form. Prior year 1040 with all Schedules.
Military	Most recent Military Leave or Earnings Statement within last 30 Days. Veterans Affairs Award Letter.
Investments	Previous 2 years of complete 1040's including Schedule B. Recent copy of Brokerage Account Statement.
Retired	Most recent Social Security Award Letter. Veterans Affairs Award Letter. Pension Eligibility Letter.
Rental Income	Previous 2 years 1040's with all Schedules. Bank Statements within last 90 Days.
Other (examples)	Insurance company disbursement letter. Alimony or Child support with documentation showing it will continue to be paid for at least 3 years after the funding date.
