What documents are accepted for income verification?

The following table lists examples of acceptable documentation for income verification purposes. It does not represent a full list of acceptable documents. Tenet uses submitted documentation to verify that the applicant is the receiver of the income, and that the reported income is accurate.

Income sources

Examples of acceptable documentation

Salaried, Full-Time and Part-Time Employees

  • Paystub within last Month.

  • If you would like to include any annual or quarterly bonus in your income, please also upload last year’s W2 or final pay stub indicating the bonus received.

Self-Employed

  • Screenshots from Turo or Getaround platforms, indicating that you have been a host for the last 6 months.

    • For your second Tenet-financed vehicle and beyond, you must show in screenshots that your existing Tenet-financed vehicles are earning at least $1,200/month in revenue.

  • For Vehicle Sharing Loans for Businesses, you must provide The Accepted docs for Business Owners.

  • For Hosts with 10 or more Vehicles:

    • Stable Business Financials.

    • Additional eligibility criteria around time in business, utilization, revenue, etc.

Rental Income

Other (examples)

  • Insurance company disbursement letter.

  • Alimony or Child support with documentation showing it will continue to be paid for at least 3 years after the funding date.
