When you upgrade from an Annual Basic plan to an Annual PRO plan, the upgrade happens immediately.
Here’s how the billing works:
We credit you for the unused time left on your Basic plan.
We charge you for the Pro plan for the remaining time in your current billing year.
You only pay the difference between those two amounts.
Simple Example
Let’s say:
Basic plan = $10 per year
Pro plan = $20 per year
You’re halfway through your year when you upgrade
You would:
Get a ~$5 credit for the unused half of your Basic plan
Be charged ~$10 for the remaining half-year of Pro
Pay the difference today — about $5
After that, when your plan renews, you’ll be charged the full Pro annual price.
