You have already saved time writing test cases using our step generation,
Now its time for the next step in automation, automatically creating a defect using AI.

Up until now, even if our flow was fully automated, if defects were found during the automation process we had to trace the defect and manually document information about the defect... no more! Using TTM4J's new feature, with the click of a button, we will create the defect for you!

The two ways to create a defect using AI

Submit defect

While executing test runs on test-pad, on the top right corner we have the Submit a defect button:

After pressing the Create a defect with AI button, the AI will go over all the test run steps and look for failed steps:

After a few seconds, a create defect modal will automatically be opened and will include a summary of the problem and a link to the test run. Now just review (and change anything if needed) and click Create.

You will find the defect in the Defects tab under Test run linked defects:

Create a defect related to a test run step

Besides the Submit defect option, its also possible to create defects that relate to a specific test run step

After pressing the Create a defect with AI button, the AI will go over the information in the failed step and generate a defect accordingly.

You will find this bug in the Step linked defects section

There you have it, opening bugs was never easier!

This is just one of the cool things we have planned for the future, stay tuned for more.
