How To: Reset Another User’s Password

Purpose

Reset another user’s password so they can regain access to the app. Only users with Client Administrator access can perform this task.


Step 1: Open the User Administration Screen

  1. Navigate to System > User admin.


Step 2: Select the User

  1. Click on the email address of the user whose password you wish to reset.


Step 3: Reset the Password

  1. In the panel on the right, click the Reset button.

  2. A confirmation prompt will appear. Click OK to confirm.

The user will receive an email containing a secure link to set a new password.


Alternative solution

A user may reset their own password from the login page by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link.


⚠️ Watchouts

  • Expired email links: Reset links expire after 24 hours and only the most recent link will work.

  • Email delivery issues: If the reset email does not arrive, verify email spelling and refer to Troubleshooting Email Delivery Problems.


💡 Tips

  • Alternative access recovery: Users may reset their own password via the Forgot your password? link on the login page.

  • Quick validation: Ask the user to check spam or junk folders before performing another reset.
