How To: Change the Extraction Time for Your Integration

Changing the extraction time for an integration can be necessary for optimizing data flow and system performance. To change your system extraction time, follow the steps below:


Step 1: Access the Server

Access the server where the scheduled task is installed and running. This is usually done using remote access to the server.


Step 2: Find the Task Scheduler Application

  1. After logging in, go to the bottom left of your screen and use either:

    β€’ The Start button, or
    β€’ The Search button

  2. Type Task Scheduler into the search bar.

  3. Open the Task Scheduler application when it appears.

  4. Inside Task Scheduler, select Task Scheduler Library.


Step 3: Locate the Netstock/SIA scheduled tasks

When you open Task Scheduler Library, a list of scheduled tasks will appear.

Look for one of the following task names:

  • Netstock your_instance_name Data Extraction (Netstock)

  • Sage Inventory Advisor your_instance_name Data Extraction (SIA users)

Step 4: Edit the Data Extraction task

  1. Click on the Data Extraction task to select it.

  2. Right-click the task to open a dropdown menu. Choose Properties from the menu.

  3. Select the Triggers tab.

  4. Click Edit

  5. The Edit Trigger window will open, showing the current scheduled time. Adjust the time to the value you want the extraction to run at each day.

  6. When you are done, click OK on all open windows to confirm the change. Close Task Scheduler once the configuration has been saved.
